Still playing catch up. Honestly, it’s the most frustrating feeling to wake up every morning not knowing what will come next, but ignoring work hasn’t really helped much, that’s for sure. Pushing myself out of a depressed phase and into a manic one is an uphill struggle, but worth it. It also makes me even less social than usual… I’m cutting off contact with pretty much everyone I know (except those I live with) for a few days to get things going in the right direction.
Updates to the KimonoMomo website and Etsy shop include new items and the 20% off sale on vintage kimono goes on through the end of the month. Vintage fabric bundles will be coming back (I know, you’ll believe it when you see it) and there are already new KimonoMomo clutch purses in stock. The “incense” page on KimonoMomo.com will be replaced with a “sashiko” page that will link to the Etsy shop as most of my other pages already do.
In show news, we will not be in the dealer’s room at Fanime Con for 2009. While I find this truly disappointing, I simply couldn’t pull it off this year despite living 500 miles closer to the show than I did last year. Hopefully we’ll be at both Sakura Con and Fanime Con in 2010. I will certainly post here once those or any other shows are confirmed. I’ve spent most of my life working the show circut one way or another so it feels weird not to be planning trips and packing up stock right now. There is a slim chance we might get a booth at Yaoi Con in San Francisco this fall, updates to come.
So stay tuned… I’m turning my focus back to making new items for the summer–especially bags that aren’t black!–and will be posting again as soon as I can. Thanks for all the support in the meantime, it really means so much to me. 🙂
