I’ve been sewing since 1978, researching Japanese textiles since 2004, blogging on The Ardent Thread since January 1, 2008, and writing for publications such as Stitch Magazine since 2010. I teach, lecture, sell, and collect as many beautiful textiles (and books about them) as I can. The Alexander Henry fabric is a quilt-weight fabric, so yes, I think it would make a nice blouse.
