We had such big dreams before 2020! And since then, so much has changed. The Tokyo International Quilt Festival closed and other shows have opened, Japan has shifted increasingly towards a card-welcoming country rather than the cash-preferred system we knew before, and an already fantastic public transportation has gotten even better. 

We are planning a tour for 2025 that will be tailored for those who have already hit the tourist highlights and big cities such as Tokyo and Kyoto. We want to take you deeper into the countryside and meet some fantastic artists, sleep in a historic home in a tiny coastal community, clamber through a castle, and get your hands messy while dyeing things.
