I am so excited.
Thirty years ago I was a reluctant tag-along when my mother dragged me to fabric shops. I’d dash around the stands of bolts until she told me to stop, then sit in a quiet corner and fall asleep until it was time to go.
These days, however, it’s a whole different ball game. As soon as a new box arrives, my kids and run to open it and see what’s inside. They tend to lose interest shortly after that, but I don’t. I pull the bolts out, touch them, hold them up to the light, then sort them by color and design.
So here they are, the new arrivals from Kona Bay, plus a few Robert Kaufman bolts as well. I hope you have find some delectable textiles for your holiday or even spring projects. Send me photos! I love to see what you make with the fabrics I sell. That’s why I do what I do.
