Personally, I’m holding off the big New Year celebrations until Chinese New Year on January 26, 2009. Once the Year of the Rat is over, I’ll breathe a sigh of relief.

January 1 also marks the one year anniversary of this blog. One year ago my life was simpler and I had an idea of what I was doing and where I was going. The past six months have been a sort of chaos I’d prefer not to go through again, but I’m moving on with a renewed perspective on life, business, and relationships. At least that’s what I keep telling myself.

In the meantime I am sorting out vintage stock that has been in storage, preparing to photograph new items and list them on the KimonoMomo website and in the Etsy shop, and get shows booked for the 2009 season. Updates will be posted here as soon as I have them. Sashiko items will be restocked very soon, so let me know if there are specific items you are looking for or colors you would like me to offer.
