It’s almost Free Fiber Giveaway time! At midnight on Tuesday, June 10 I’ll be picking a random name from those of you who have left a reply anywhere on this blog in the past month. WordPress sorts them by date so I don’t have to search through posts trying to find them. Clever, eh?
I’m back on ebay now with a dozen listings so far and plenty more to come. My schedule right now shows 6 listings a day on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I’ll do my best to keep up with that number and improve on it as much as I can. I’ve been clearing out bundles of stashed silks and will have some great bundles available along with the beautiful single panels I typically list.
Sashiko project update: The cottons have been washed and are waiting to be ironed before I cut into them. I’m still deciding how complex or simple I want the project to be, and I’ve decided to back it with a white table cloth I’ve used for years that is stained. I didn’t want to throw such a nice table cloth out, and this is a great way to recycle it. Photos soon to come.
i just found you via the switchboards (i mostly lurk) and placed an order from your etsy shop – thought i should post a hello in time for the draw so when i win you can ship the lot together ;D
actually i was going to write anyway to say how fascinating i found your posts on obi linings – the striped fabric from your hello world post is really beautiful. it’s really refreshing to find a business-related blog that’s a genuinely interesting read, and it’s good to know that i’m buying from someone who really knows their stuff. keep up the good work 🙂
Hi Soph! Thanks for the kind words–and the order!
