Vacations are supposed to be relaxing, so I’m told. Instead I find my fingers twitching and I’m eager to get back to my piles of fabric, dig right in and work until I fall asleep. Tomorrow I plan to attend a screening of Hannari ~ Geisha Modern at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco, and that has me excited. So… frustrated and excited. Yeah, that’s me trying to relax. Ugh.

I don’t profess to be any sort of textile or even kimono expert (“enthusiast” would perhaps be a better term), but every time someone challenges me to come up with an answer, I certainly do enjoy tracking down the information. Job placement tests I’ve taken often suggest I become a research librarian, so you know I’m geared for this sort of thing.
